Articulation Games is a comprehensive, flexible, and fun speech-therapy, iPad app that was created by a certified speech and language pathologist for children to practice the pronunciation of over forty English phonemes, organized according to placement of articulation. It includes thousands of real-life flashcards, accompanied by professional audio recordings and capability of audio recording.

School of Multi Step Directions app was created by a certified speech and language pathologist for students ages five to 12, to improve auditory comprehension of multi-step directions in the academic context.
School of Multi Step Directions app is built around the theme of school and allows children to follow increasingly longer and more complex multi–step unrelated directions in three different “classroom” settings such as English, Math and Chemistry Lab. The children are welcomed by the professor, who encourages them to work hard as they will be rewarded with “recess,” during which they can play a game of pong.
Auditory Workout was created by a certified speech and language pathologist for students ages 4–10 who exhibit auditory processing disorders or other related disorders (e.g., receptive language disorder or autism). Auditory Workout is research-based and focuses on improving auditory attention and memory and auditory processing of verbal directions. This engaging, colorful app includes over 1,000 audio instructions. Children are welcomed by the basketball coach, who encourages them to work hard. Children earn a basketball for each correct response, and when they accumulate enough balls, they are rewarded with a game (a game of catch for younger children or/and basketball for older children).
The Auditory Memory Ride app is a comprehensive and fun app for students aged six to 13 with central auditory processing disorder (CAPD) or other related disorders (e.g., receptive language disorder or autism). The Auditory Memory Ride app includes over 1000 stimuli with pre-recorded audio and the ability to introduce background noise. The app includes both recognition and recall tasks with the ability to delay the presentation of the stimuli. There are four modes of delay, including No delay, 5-second delay, 10-second delay, and 15-second delay.
The Auditory Reasoning app was created by a certified speech and language pathologist for students, ages 6 and up with central auditory processing disorder (CAPD) or other related disorders (e.g., receptive language disorder or autism), to improve auditory processing requiring reasoning and high-level thinking. All the tasks are presented orally so the students can work solely on their auditory skills and processing.
The Social Skills with Billy app was designed by a speech pathologist to allow children with autism to practice their social skills and pragmatic language in real-life situations and to practice identifying various feelings. To practice social skills and pragmatic language, children are presented with over 100 real-life situational dialogues pertaining to birthday parties, school, home, restaurants, a hairdresser, a department store, a library, a doctor’s office, a dental office, family dinners, baseball games, play dates, airports, a garage sale, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, a New Year’s Eve party, visiting a sick grandmother, a field trip, a new baby, general conversations, making new friends, family vacations, and peer conflicts.
Seasonal Directions app targets auditory comprehension of increasingly longer one step and multi step unrelated directions. Students will practice their listening skills with vocabulary related to seasons. The ability to introduce background noise during listening exercises makes this an ideal app for students with auditory processing disorders.
The All Critical Thinking app targets problem solving, reasoning, and critical thinking and can be used in language or cognitive therapy sessions with children ages 10 and up and adults with cognitive or language deficits and disorders. Tasks included in the Critical Thinking app allow the users to analyze, evaluate, create, and problem solve.
The Articulation Vacation app is built around a vacation theme and activities. Children will have fun practicing the articulation of various phonemes while “on vacation” and playing different built-in summer games: - Fishing game: Children will fish and catch not only fish but also different fun objects containing targeted sounds. - Beach treasure hunt: Children will look for hidden objects in the sand and uncover them by swiping the sand. - Picture-taking: Children will take pictures of different objects containing targeted sounds. - Parachute game: Children will land flying parachutes carrying different objects containing targeted sounds. - Postcards: Children will read or listen to fun, short paragraphs in the form of postcards.
The Real Vocabulary app is a comprehensive and flexible language program for kindergarten-5th grade students targeting core curriculum vocabulary. The Real Vocabulary app includes over 1500 pictures and over 5000 pre-recorded audio. The pro version of the app and the All Words in - app program allow the users to add their own words, pictures and audio recordings, making therapy more individualized and allowing school speech therapists to add their own curriculum based vocabulary.
Auditory Processing Studio was created by a certified speech and language pathologist for adults and children ages 7 and up who exhibit Central Auditory Processing Disorder or other auditory processing disorders. This research-based app implements the bottom-top approach to treatment of auditory processing disorders and focuses on improving auditory processing through auditory discrimination, auditory closure, and phonological awareness activities. Functional Listening app includes listening exercises with everyday messages that might be heard throughout the day at different settings such as store, doctor’s office, school, etc.
Functional listening can be used in speech therapy with individuals, who struggle with language comprehension due to receptive language disorders, Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), stroke and cognitive deficits. Wh-Questions Island was developed by a certified speech and language pathologist for children to practice auditory comprehension and verbal expression by answering wh-questions. Children will have fun playing the colorful animated board game and earning rewards while practicing wh-questions with real -life photos.
Talking Together encourages students to hold and maintain conversations with their peers in a natural setting, and makes it easier for speech and language pathologists to monitor pragmatic language goals. A group of 2-4 students can participate in the conversation. Students sit around a table, placing the iPad in the center of the table and compete to participate in conversation by tapping on the GO icon when the topic is displayed on the topic icon.

Children earn a soccer ball for each correct response, and when they accumulate enough balls, they can play a soccer game.
Verbal Reasoning is an iPad app created by a certified speech and language pathologist for adults and children ages 12 and up. Verbal Reasoning targets reasoning and critical thinking skills, challenging users with over 1000 stimuli. This colorful and engaging app allows speech and language pathologists and educators to set a reward system when working with children to make therapy more fun and motivating. The children are rewarded with puzzle pieces, and when they accumulate enough pieces they can do various puzzles. This feature can be turned off when working with adults.
Magical Concepts is an app for the iPhone and iPad. It was created by a certified speech-language pathologist who wanted to make “drilling” with flashcards fun and motivating. This engaging, colorful app includes over 2000 photos accompanied by audio instructions. Children are welcomed by Mago the Magician, who encourages them to work hard. Children earn stars for each correct response, and when they accumulate enough stars, they are rewarded with a magic show.
Memory Exercises app was designed to help improve and maintain short-term memory, attention, processing speed, and working memory of those adults who are either challenged due to the aging process or have been diagnosed with mild dementia, or suffered from a stroke and other related brain injuries.
Main Street Memory app is meant to assist both children and adults who need practice processing and recalling brief, complex auditory instructions. Unlike other recall apps, this one takes place in a real life context-shopping and working downtown. This helps clients to readily understand how limitations and gains in skills directly affect their life. It also allows the therapist to directly relate therapeutic tasks to functional outcomes for community living tasks and vocational readiness. The activities are game like so that clients have fun while learning. The therapist has the ability to control length and complexity of directions by selecting the appropriate level and the amount and type of background noise by adjusting the settings on the app. In addition to background noise the therapist can delay the presentation of stimuli.
The Problem Solve It app is designed to help individuals with cognitive impairments resulting, for example, from a stroke or early stages of dementia. The problems selected in this app are functional in nature and relate to social communication, management of finances, health, literacy, education, and personal thinking. Problem solving is an important skill in our day-to-day activities, and while performing various tasks in this app such as problem-solving based on case scenarios and sentence completion with “if,” the user will be able to identify the problem, examine the possible options, and think creatively to seek strategic approaches to problem solving.
The Social Norms for Autism app was created by a certified speech and language pathologist for children with autism spectrum disorder. This app helps children learn social rules and behaviors through stories. The Social Norms app is ideal for parents, educators, and speech language pathologists as it allows full customization. The users have the ability to add their own photos, text, and audio recordings to create individualized stories that teach specific skills that the child with autism spectrum disorder may have difficulty learning or understanding.
Verbs News is a fun and creative language-therapy app for the iPad created by a certified speech and language pathologist for students to learn and practice verbs in four different tenses (simple present, present continuous, simple past, and simple future). It has a total of over 190 regular and irregular verbs represented in beautiful real-life pictures.

Over 2,000 stimuli, organized according to 12 semantic categories, will help individuals practice their reading comprehension skills at the word, phrase, and sentence levels.

The Sounds at Home app was designed by a Speech and Language Pathologist to help young children be aware of sounds in their environments and sounds in words as well as following instructions which requires auditory memory.
Outdoor Fun is an iPad application, designed by a certified speech pathologist with an idea of providing speech pathologists and parents with a fun and flexible tool to practice expressive and receptive language skills. Outdoor Fun consists of three colorful and animated scenes with kids having fun at the beach, park and mountains. Each scene can be operated in two ways making the total of 6 scene scenarios. One version of the scene is called “clickable” when the child or SLP clicks on objects or kids in the scene and animation is played. Another version of the scene is called “arrange” when the child can add and arrange object or kids in the scene. In addition each scene is accompanied by background sound ,e.g. sound of the ocean, to make the scene more realistic and also to help children practice their listening skills in the presence of environmental distracters.
The Factory of Categories app was created by a certified speech and language pathologist for children aged 3 and up to practice classifying and naming categories. The ability to group objects according to their common characteristics is a basic concept that helps children build a basis for organizing not only their semantic knowledge but also their world. Classifying and categorizing provide the foundation for problem solving, remembering and integrating new information.
Quick Artic is a free iPhone and Ipad application for Speech and Language Pathologists which contains 566 images tagged with titles and categorized by "phonemes". The application includes ten most common phonemes in all positions of words. It can be used in speech and language therapy or for quick articulation screening.
